SafeClip starts with 16 editable text replacement rules. Only matched values are replaced when shell redaction is enabled. Unmatched text remains in history unchanged. Other clipboard tools may read the original before replacement. Originals and keys are stored in plaintext in a local SQLite database and in exported backups; file history stores local file references.
